Nova Specialty Surgery, India's leading Ambulatory Surgery Group, has announced its expansion into the Middle East region. This venture will be a 51-49 per cent partnership between Nova and the OMZEST Group. Through this partnership, Nova and OMZEST will set up Ambulatory Surgery Centers in Dubai, Muscat, Abu Dhabi and Riyadh. Additionally, OMZEST will invest in Nova's Indian operations and acquire a 10 per cent equity stake. OMZEST is one of the premier and most diversified groups in Sultanate of Oman with over 75 companies led by its Chairman and Founder, H E Dr Omar Zawawi, Special Advisor for External Liaison to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said. OMZEST's business interests include manufacturing, construction & contracting, services, trading & agency representation, training and education.

Nova's partnership with OMZEST would also generate international career opportunities for doctors, clinical and non-clinical staff associated with Nova centers across India. Suresh Soni, Chairman & CEO, Nova Specialty Surgery, described this tie-up as a momentous landmark in Nova's journey to achieve a global footprint in the healthcare delivery space.
