Suresh Soni

Chairman and CEO, Nova Specialty Surgery

Mr. Suresh Soni is Managing Partner at the GTI Group, a Venture Capital and Private Equity Company headquartered in New York. Mr. Soni is Chairman and CEO of Nova Specialty Surgery.

Mr. Soni has over twenty two years of front line experience in Private Equity, Venture Capital, General Management and Business Development for global organizations including Emerson Electric and Lucent Technologies. Mr. Soni leads the GTI Group's initiatives in India. Mr. Soni was Vice President of Business Development at Brock Consulting, an industrial partner of Ripplewood Holdings LLC, where he assisted Ripplewood with new acquisitions and their management.

At GTI, Mr. Soni has co-founded Glori Oil, Coldwatt and Nova Specialty Surgery. Mr. Soni led the investment for the GTI Group in Air Works Engineering India. He is currently a Board Member at Air Works.

Mr. Soni has a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Alabama, MPIB from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade and a B.E. degree from Maharishi Dayanand University. Mr. Soni has a Diploma in Advanced Management from the Harvard Business School.

Experienced Health care professional with over 3 decades of experience in Clinical practice, Hospital Planning & Design, & Hospital Administration. Formerly associated with Fortis Healthcare Ltd., as Director - Medical Operations Group.

Dr. Sameer Khan

Chief Operating Officer

Experienced Healthcare professional with over 10 years of hospital administration, planning and medical strategy experience. Has spent over 7 years with Fortis as Director, Medical Technology and Planning. Prior to that has spent 3 years in the Border Security Force as Medical Officer.

Naresh Rao

Chief Financial Officer

Naresh Rao is the Group CFO for Nova & oversees finance, legal & compliance functions. Immediately prior to joining Nova, Naresh was President & Group CFO at TVS Logistics where he helped the company set up a scalable Finance organization and also played a key role in recent successful acquisition. He was with WNS Global Services as Senior Vice President & was instrumental in their 2006 listing on NYSE. He started his career with Wipro Limited.

Sunil Kapur

Director – Business Development

Career spread over a period of 30 years across Hospitality, Automotive, Retail, Industrial products, Media, Pharma and Healthcare. Formerly, Chief of Sales & International Business at Fortis Healthcare Limited and has served as C.O.O at RG Stone Urology and Laparoscopy Hospital.

Dr. Nanda Rajaneesh

Leading Laparoscopic and GI surgeon. MBBS,MS(Surgery), MRCS, AFCRSI (Colorectal) FICS, FAMS (Laparoscopy), Fellow Surg. Onc. – Tata Memorial Consultant - Surgical Oncologist - HCG.

K.B. Rajaneesh

VP – Projects

Leads project management at all Nova locations. Until 2007, was Vice President and Profit Center Head at UB Group. Subsequently, created Indus Tropicals, a firm specialized in supply chain management and exports. Previously, was Project Consultant, Air Works and oversaw the construction and contract management at TAAL. Mr. K.B. Rajaneesh has an MBA from IIFT and a BE from Mysore University.

Malvika Varma

Director – Human Resources

Malvika Varma, is an integration specialist and an expert in start-ups and strategic capability building with over 16 years of work experience. Has led the HR function for Fortis Healthcare right from its inception and has supported its growth both organic and in-organic from its first unit to a network of 52 Hospitals. She has also worked in the Telecom and manufacturing sectors and the "Not for Profit" sector – in Care India as their Director of Human Resources.
