Suresh Soni

Chairman and CEO, Nova Specialty Surgery

Mr. Suresh Soni is Managing Partner at the GTI Group, a Venture Capital and Private Equity Company headquartered in New York. Mr. Soni is Chairman and CEO of Nova Specialty Surgery.

Mr. Soni has over twenty two years of front line experience in Private Equity, Venture Capital, General Management and Business Development for global organizations including Emerson Electric and Lucent Technologies. Mr. Soni leads the GTI Group's initiatives in India. Mr. Soni was Vice President of Business Development at Brock Consulting, an industrial partner of Ripplewood Holdings LLC, where he assisted Ripplewood with new acquisitions and their management.

At GTI, Mr. Soni has co-founded Glori Oil, Coldwatt and Nova Specialty Surgery. Mr. Soni led the investment for the GTI Group in Air Works Engineering India. He is currently a Board Member at Air Works.

Mr. Soni has a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Alabama, MPIB from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade and a B.E. degree from Maharishi Dayanand University. Mr. Soni has a Diploma in Advanced Management from the Harvard Business School.

Bala Deshpande joined NEA in 2008 as Senior Managing Director for New Enterprise Associates (India) Pvt. Ltd based in Mumbai. Prior to this, she has worked with ICICI Venture, Bestfoods, Cadburys, and ICI. At Bestfoods, she was nominated for the Women Leadership Forum held at Bestfoods, New York.

William Hamburg

Bill Hamburg is the President of Interim Management Solutions. Mr. Hamburg has served as the interim Chief Operating Officer and interim Chief Development Officer of HealthSouth. He was also interim Chief Executive Officer for Cogent Healthcare, Inc., a privately held hospitalist company. Previously, Mr. Hamburg was the Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of MediSphere Health Partners, a privately owned, venture capital-backed, alternate site healthcare facility company. Before MediSphere, Mr. Hamburg was President and Chief Operating Officer of Surgical Care Affiliates, Inc., a NYSE company that was one of the largest independent owners and operators of outpatient surgery centers in the USA. Mr. Hamburg earned his Master of Science degree in Hospital Administration from the University of Pittsburgh.

Jasbir Singh

Jasbir Singh is the Executive Director - New Technologies of Omar Zawawi Establishment (OMZEST) Group. The group has varied activities from manufacturing to trading, financing to insurance and energy-related investment. He has been with OMZEST Group since 1985.

Before joining OMZEST Group, Mr. Singh worked as Sales Development Manager for Larsen & Toubro (L&T), one of the largest engineering companies in India. Prior to joining L&T, Mr. Singh worked for seven years at Oil & Natural Gas Commission (ONGC), where he held a variety of technical engineering positions. Mr. Singh is a graduate Petroleum Engineer from the Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad, India.
